So I've neglected my blog big time and feel that it's time to start over again. I have so many ideas for blog posts that I'd love to share with you all. My passion truly lies with Eco/Organic beauty so that's what I've based my near future posts around.
My first project is going to be a weekly 'Spotlight on'. I will be writing about my favourite beauty ingredients and their uses over the next month. This week i'll be starting with the impressive Apple Cider Vinegar. Let me know what you think and thanks to everyone who has subscribed already.
I decided to start with Apple Cider Vinegar as it's become somewhat of an obsession recently.
There doesn't seem to be an end to this ingredients health and beauty benefits. It's my new go to product.
Here, I have compiled a list of my favourite uses and the benefits of using Apple Cider Vinegar for beauty purposes.
Natural skin toner:
Mix one part Apple Cider Vinegar with two parts water. Dab over face with a cotton ball or pad once to twice daily.
Benefits: It is said to balance out the skins natural PH balance, therefore creating a better base for the absorption of your skincare products. This mixture is also favoured by celebrities as a natural acne fighter.
Hair conditioner and shine booster:
Mix one part Apple Cider Vinegar with one part water. Apply after shampooing and leave on for 1-2 minutes then rinse out.
Benefits: Conditions hair and adds shine.
Add it to your drinking water:
Add one teaspoon to a class of water daily for a natural energy boost.
Benefits: Boosts energy, Balances out the body's natural PH balance. Aids in detoxification and weight loss. Also known to ward of the cold and flu viruses.
Tooth stain remover:
Apply neat over stained teeth.
Benefits: Said to help remove stains from teeth and whitening.
As you can see these are just a few of the many benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar. It's a great ingredient with many purposes.
